I am a student at MIT currently in my second year studying Biological Engineering. I am originally from Michigan, but enjoy living across from the city of Boston.

[edit] Purpose

I created this Wikipedia account to work on creating wikipages about Brazilian culture. We are working with students from the bradesco foundation in [Tocantins]. Through an MIT program called D-lab I spent January 2006 in Brazil learning the culture and implementing technologies to improve the living situation of the population living in the settlements and villages.

[edit] Interests

I like to do practical things related to what I study. Right now I am working on a tissue engineering project to apply my biology and engneering knowledge. I also try to expose myself to things that will broaden my perspective, such as D-lab.
