[edit] Sally Sweetland

I am sorry but this article may get deleted very soon since it is not yet encyclopaedic. I have copied the article to User:Jkaharper /Sally Sweetland where you can continue to work on the article until it is ready to be sprung upon a surprised world :-) TerriersFan 00:45, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

The article was a non-notable biography according to the criteria set out in WP:BIO.  (aeropagitica)  (talk)  13:52, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Christmas music

You're right, I should have brought it up on the Talk page first. There were several comments on the Talk page already about how the article was in need of a rewrite, so I was bolder than I usually would be. Maybe in the new year we can find a compromise that we both agree with. I don't want to wreck anyone's fun over Christmas. Cheers, Kla'quot 00:31, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] AfD Nomination: UK Best Selling Singles in 2006

An editor has nominated the article UK Best Selling Singles in 2006 for deletion, under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the nomination (also see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on why the topic of the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome: participate in the discussion by editing Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/UK Best Selling Singles in 2006. Add four tildes like this ˜˜˜˜ to sign your comments. You can also edit the article UK Best Selling Singles in 2006 during the discussion, but do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top of the article), this will not end the deletion debate. [edit] RE: Fat Bastard

It was removed because he was not a main character and therefore not a special guest, especially as he wasn't eve given a name. -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 17:23, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Signing your posts

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 17:23, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] citations

add citations as you add names. this comes up on the article regularly. unsourced named will be removed. adding unsourced material to the public article space is inappropriate - at any given moment, someone on the net may be reading the article. persons listed must be self-identified as atheists, and the entry must include a cite. it's simple. [edit] Notability of GayGod

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on GayGod, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because GayGod seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting GayGod, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. To see the user who deleted the page, click here CSDWarnBot (talk) 02:30, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Jason Rae (musician)

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Jason Rae (musician), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Jason Rae (musician).
