[edit] "Black government"?
I am at a loss as to what the following sentence means: "However, the jive including other swing dances was not approved by the black government." It seems as though the sentence is written to imply the leaders of some country, but that does not fit really well with the rest of the article. Is there perhaps another word that can be used instead of 'government' that would be less ambiguous? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Wsauer (talk • contribs) 19:51, 29 March 2007 (UTC).
[edit] speed error
shouldn't "bpm" read "measures per minute" instead? Usually "bpm" means beats per minute, not bars per minute. This means the values are off by the factor 4.
- I'm completely agreed with you on that. I have never seen the acronym 'bpm' being used to mean 'bars per minute'. I feel this could be confusing to some people reading this article. I'll make a change to that which can be corrected if necessary. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.234.4.10 (talk) 07:42, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Basic Step
The "Basic Step" section claims it's an 8-count step, but it only includes 6 counts. What gives? (Some cats are hep to the jive and some cats aren't.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by MiguelMunoz (talk • contribs) 08:10, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
The a in 3 a4 and 5 a6 is a step as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.203.191.158 (talk) 17:15, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
