Oral storytelling-The Shiner ……… They kept moving on in the gloomy part of day. Only the lovely white moon gave them the ability to go on. The policeman questioned again in struggle. “How far is it now mam? “ The shy lady answered, “Not far now.” Soon the policeman coughed and puffed. He couldn’t control the bike, as a result of this they fell onto the icy grass. “Apologies mam. If I would go on, my leg bones would snap!” said the policeman in agony. He looked at the shy lady and nearly had a heart attack. He saw that the shy lady had somehow grown some gigantic wings. Suddenly the women/bird dived at the policeman and took flight in the murky night. They travelled far. Now the policeman could see the reflection of the ocean as they reached the edge. The women dropped the officer onto the high rocks. The man acted fast as he took his asp and attacked the women/bird on its wings. He realised the wing were weak. After that, the ‘fe-devil’ spread her enormous wings and pushed the man. As he was falling into the bleak sea, he quickly grabbed the wing of the women/bird and they both fell in. Suddenly there was a scream! The lady was burning up; she had turned crimson with steam. The policeman swam away quickly. Then, there was a huge explosion, loud enough to wake all the people in he small town near by. As the deadly smoke cleared up, all that was left was a purple liquid dissolving into the salty sea. The policeman was never seen again.
