Jitin Prasad (born 29 November 1973) is an Indian politician. He stood for the 2004 Lok Sabha elections on the INC ticket and is currently a Member of Parliament from Shahjahanpur.

Jitin Prasada is the son of veteran Congress leader Jitendra Prasada, who was the Vice-President of the party as well as the Political Advisor to two Prime Ministers of India, Rajiv Gandhi in 1991 and P V Narasimha Rao in 1994.

Jitin Prasada studied at The Doon School, Dehradun. He did his BCOM(Hons) from the prestigious Sri Ram College of Commerece, Delhi University and then went on to do his Masters in Business Administration from International Management Institute (IMI), New Delhi. Jitin Prasada worked at DSP Meryll Lynch and then on to BPL Net.
