Jitender Kumar (b.1977) is an Indian boxer who has medaled twice at Commonwealth Gamnes.

He represented his native country at two consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 2000 at middleweight. Kumar belongs to bhiwani, haryana. He has taken his basic training in SAI bhiwani from Mr. Jagdish Singh.
At the Commonwealth Games 1998 he lost to John Pearce, in 2002 at the semis to Steven Birch.
Nationally he has fought as high as heavyweight.
He is not to be confused with his namesake, a flyweight, see Jitender Kumar (Flyweight).
