Jirapur is a town and a nagar panchayat in Rajgarh district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.

As of 2001 India census[1], Jirapur had a population of 16,815. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Jirapur has an average literacy rate of 62%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 73%, and female literacy is 51%. In Jirapur, 16% of the population is under 6 years of age.
