[edit] actor

I dont get it, half the Indian characters here, including Jinnah, are played by white actors. I find it highly disappointing that they couldnt find a decent Asian actor to fit the part, either for his young or old age. Even in his most unflattering portrayal in the film Gandhi (film) they have an Asian actor. I also thought this film was somewhat patchy in it's portrayal of Jinnah's life and could have done a much better job. I'm still looking forward to the day that when they decide to film a movie on Jinnah, they put a lot more effort and at least choose a Pakistani or Indian to play him. In Gandhi they at least chose a half-Indian guy to do the part. A better quality film is what I'm asking for. But I guess it wasnt bad. It just wasnt great. -Afghan Historian 20:21, 29 April 2006 (UTC)

That's great, but this section is for discussing how to improve this article, not for your opinionon the film. Crazy Eddy 20:02, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] More!

This article is almost a stub, it's lacking in information so much! It needs Budget, takings, critical reaction, trivia, the lot! Crazy Eddy 20:03, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

Image:Muhammad Ali Jinnah.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion.
