Jinzhai County

Jinzhai County is a county in Anhui under the jurisdiction of Lu'an in the People's Republic of China. Its population is 640,000 and has an area of 3667 square kilometers. The government of Jinzhai County was located at Meishan Town before 2006, and is currently at Jiangdian Town, which is neighborhood of the former. Jinzhai County has jurisdiction over 9 towns and 10 townships.
Jinzhai County is also known for its army leaders, having produced 59 men which reached a rank of generals.

Jinzhai County is at the crossroads between Anhui, Henan and Hubei Provinces. The mountainous terrain attracts tourists for its rugged beauty, and the highest mountain, Tiantangzhai at the height of 1729 meters.
