[edit] Windows Server 2008
Thanks for uploading the PNG RTM screenshot, Image:Windows Server 2008.png. It had some licensing problems, which I have fixed. However, the screenshot seems to be resized from a higher resolution. Being text heavy, the resizing process blurs the text. Could you please upload the image again at the original resolution? --soum talk 09:04, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
- The licensing issues are a major PITA here. The template only provides the description and WP:NFCC#10c compliance (stating which articles the image is used in). The Fair use rationale must be added separately. As for the resolution, because resizing is not lossless, when it is scaled down again to display in the image description page, it becomes more fuzzy than it otherwise would be. It would be best if you could add a native resolution image. 1600x1200 is a bit too big. Can you set the screen to 1024x768 prior to taking the screenshot? If not 1600x1200 would suffice. Thanks. Also, it is preferred that screenshots for use in infoboxes show as less windows as possible. Can you take the screenshot with just the server manager window and the start menu open? The cmd window doesn't show anything characteristic. Same for the system properties, there's nothing save for the OS edition name and version, the same info is already in the article. --soum talk 11:03, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
