Megatokyo is a manga-influenced webcomic written and illustrated by Fred Gallagher. Started during August 2000, the comic is available gratis on its official website. Megatokyo ranks amongst the most popular webcomics in production, receiving praise from publications like The New York Times. Published in print by DC Comics, it is the best selling original English-language manga in history. Set in a fictional version of Tokyo, Megatokyo portrays the adventures of Piro, a young fan of anime and manga, and his friend Largo, a video game enthusiast.
