This inappropriate request for speedy deletion of the Jimmy Noonan page should be considered attemted vandalism. Please note that based on this anonymous user's other contributions, they are apparently a fan of professional wrestling, and are thus obviously aware of Jimmy Noonan's role with WWE. Given his responsibilities as Security Director for WWE, it is understandable that there would be a number of immature or ill-behaved fans who would bear him a grudge. While I cannot say that this is the case in this instance, I do find it peculiar that someone who has every reason to know of Mr. Noonan feels the need to have his page deleted. This certainly indicates some personal motivation on his part. This same anonymous user also recently nominated another unrelated page for speedy deletion, which was rejected by another registered user.

Jimmy Noonan meets all of the criteria for notability. He has had numerous credited roles as an actor, and is still regularly recognized by strangers for some of his more notable roles, such as Frank Galikanokus in Super Troopers. Among fans of professional wrestling (such as this anonymous user), he is a very familiar figure, and has many personal fans around the country and the world. He is certainly more recognized and respected than many professional wrestlers who have come and gone over the years. He has also been featured in magazine articles, which were not cited here because I do not have the specific issue data. Perhaps someone else can add this information in the future. This is my first and currently only contribution to Wikipedia, and I researched the qualifications carefully before posting. I created this page because many people know of Jimmy Noonan the actor or Jimmy Noonan from WWE, but relatively few know of both facets of his career. I have been expecting some type of vandalism or personal attack on this article, and I hope that this rather lengthy defense will head off future unwarranted actions.
