I won't edit, but there seems to be a lot of bias in the 'second rate singer' part. Just leave it off. Please. Tolo

There's a bit of bias in the "a voice of enviable range and character" part, too - it's just more positive bias :-)

I think someone should introduce a link to Tin Lids - they are his kids, after all...

I was thinking of adding a section to this entry on Barnes' family, including something about his wife, who's a pretty interesting person herself, but I haven't had the time to research it enough to work it in here. Jackie's resume is rather impressive though, but I'm not sure where and what to merge here. BrianFG 06:16, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

On the quality scale page, this article is shown as a classic start class article. Surely it is at least B-class? This is a very comprehensive article.

It's been a start class for a while, before I started expanding and updating it about a year or so ago. I agree it should be reassessed, but I won't nominate due to the amount of work I've done on it. Maybe someone else can? BrianFG 23:54, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
