[edit] National Security Council?
The article says "After his retirement, Archer received a medal from the National Security Council in 1931 due to his reviving two men who had been overcome by carbon monoxide in the Chicago stockyards" - what organization is intended please? The United States National Security Council was established in 1947, and is anyway not the sort of body that would give medals for this type of act. DuncanHill (talk) 16:59, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
OK, I've worked it out, the medal was actually from the National Safety Council, per the obit used as a reference in the article [1]. I have corrected the article accordingly. DuncanHill (talk) 17:04, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
- Oops. Yeah, it was National Safety Council, not Security. That's what I get for writing most of it at 1 in the morning.. Wizardman 18:36, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
- Happens to all of us! DuncanHill (talk) 23:18, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
