[edit] Birth date

I have two conflicting birth dates for "Dimboola Jim".

  • 1. 1851 at Pleasant Creek, near Adelaide, SA (Jack Pollard)
  • 2. 1860 (1 Sept) at Pleasant Creek, now Stawell, Victoria. (CricInfo)

Either way, he spent most of his early life at Dimboola, Vic. - hence his nickname.

I'll check some BDMs, but if anyone knows for sure, please amend as required. MulgaBill 03:59, 9 September 2005 (UTC)
