[edit] Shooting claim inconsistency
I've removed this recently added text:
- As a page, he was present when the Puerto Rican Nationalists opened fire from the gallery. With fellow pages, Kolbe helped carry a wounded member of Congress off of the House Floor.
There's no source for this. Although this article states he was a page 1958-59, the article U.S. Capitol shooting incident (1954) states that the incident happened in 1954. Does someone have a source that documents his involvement? Cleduc 03:02, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Mark Foley Scandal, possible category vandalism
A user:Grazon with a history of category vandalism recently removed the Mark Foley Scandal category to this page, can someone check on that, I think he probably should be in this category and it should be re-added.Qrc2006 00:54, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] 2007
Seeing as the 109th Congress ended Dec 9, why does this page list Kolbe's term as ending in 2007? Tim Long 08:04, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
- Because that is how the US Congress lists term endings. The end of a session is not the same as the end of a term. In theory, Congress can be reconvened any time prior to the start of the next term. Quatloo 16:21, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
