According to the website, he has a new deal with Sony (SmittysOnslaught 16:26, 5 October 2007 (UTC))
[edit] Imaginary beef with Santana
Jones has at no point stated he has problems with Juelz nor offered an ultimatum to the group. This statement on the main page is fictional.
[edit] Conflict With Cam'ron
Jim Jones does have beef with Cam'Rom ,This Was Confirmed On rapbasement may 23rd,2007. Jones Is Distancing Himself From Cam'Rom. Jones and Cam' Ron were found sniffing a line in a bathroom in New York city. trhats a lie nigga —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.232.220.43 (talk) 01:55, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Jim Jones jumped at the rucker
I think this could be added to jim jones section he was jumped at the rucker by junior mafia. Jim jones lost the fight and ran out of the basketball court as did cam'ron. This is not a one sided comment go to youtube and type in jim jones and see for yourselves
-
- Well maybe they lost but they were 2, and the Junior mafias was like 6 or something. What would you do? And plus a few of them kinda big as well. Jim and Cam were outnumbered 3 to 1...... I don't think they lost any rep due to that episode. And besides, a few snitches sittin retrospectin and laughin at that, are bigger losers as I see it. --A-ixemy 02:59, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
I think the reason many see it as a slight to Jones and Cam's rep is due to the Rucker being in Harlem, an area where both claim to run the streets. For both to run away from a fight on their own turf speaks volumes
- I thought Junior Mafia were from Brooklyn...
Junior Mafia IS from Brooklyn. Which means Cam and Jim get beat down in they're own hood. WHERE WERE THE GOONS, JIM??? They must have been gone around the time you clean jumped that four foot fence like it was nothing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.145.64.64 (talk) 16:08, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Situation with 50 Cent
It seems that jim jones and 50 cent are good with each other, they were on bet rap city together and had no problems, they were also in NYC alongside with juelz santana and g unit, this deserves a mention in the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.102.16.157 (talk) 16:27, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
and also 50 cent said he will bring a new member in g-unit and jim jones said that he was offered a lto of money that he can't refuse to be signed to a new label and 50 cent said surprised? we still have a lto of surprises!!1 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.88.98.241 (talk) 11:30, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Nine Trey Gangsters
Does anyone know is Jim Jones is an actual member of the NTG's? I've heard him claim them in some of his songs one being "Dont forget about me" but does anyone know if he is really a member or if he is just "banging on wax"?
- Yeah, seems he continuosly does this. I don't know for a fact if it's true or not, but considering he keeps the "claimin" up, I would think there's something to it. - A-ixemy 23:57, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Jim Jones & New York Giants
I think that the whole thing thats going on with the NY Giants doing the whole "ballin" sign to comemorate nice sacks or good plays is really cool. but what should be added to the page is that the giants have takin this song of his up and not only has he responded positively but he actually remixed and made a new song revolving around the giants its a NY giants remix. the fact that its become like a form of celebration and has been used by basically all of their defense and some of their offense and also the fans have gotten into it a lot including Jim Jones himself. heres a link to some proof of the new song; http://www.allhiphop.com/hiphopnews/?ID=6338
[edit] anyone notice a pattern..
ok aside from the typical mainstream rubbish lyrics about cars, money other bullshit.. in his latest video you'll see mountains of cash (1 dollar bills), if you watch anyother song.. for example big tymers, i believe their battleing on who has the most (1 dollar bills) in their video.. anyone notice that? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 75.15.241.205 (talk) 06:13, 23 December 2006 (UTC).
[edit] Reference for Chart History
[edit] background
We all know jim jones is part puerto rican, but do you know what the 75% is? If you don't know he's really Indian, or Middle East. He is not african american, he is a Middle Eastern who was ashame of his background so he got rid of his Hindu culture. In the mixtape "Purple Shot" one of his lyrics were said in Hindu, and he also said "I got a new religion, no need for the six armed woman, no red dots on my head but I can get someone shot instead." He didn't want to be called a terrorist after 9/11, but after Juelz song he felt it was ok to create an Indian group. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.90.21.246 (talk) 02:35, 13 January 2007 (UTC).jim jones is puerto rican and Aruban his is not Hindu or African American
uhhh...that doesn't even make sense because most "Middle East" people are MUSLIM, Hinduism is from INDIA, and the 9-11 attacks were commited by MUSLIMS not HINDUS. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.176.14.100 (talk) 00:07, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] 5-o?
If you heard early January hip hop news you would know about jim jones past. Jones signed up to be an NYPD back in 1995. Once jones signed up he was on duty for a few months, but he had to take a test before getting his weapon and real badge. While serving as a minor NYPD he was allowed to get rid of minor charges. One was a possion of drugs, and the second was drunk driving. Those charges were erased for good and then jones was going for his test. Eventually he failed the test and didn't retake it, later he decided to go once more, but reconsidered. Jim is currently engaged to Candyce Bouie and they are getting married on a nice sunny day in june of 2007.

Why is it red? It should be khaki/solo_singer according to the color table of the template. Please change it. Lajbi Holla @ me 00:31, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] spam
"Jenny Jones has been slated as one of the worst rappers. Although he made a huge hit like Sir Mix Alot thats the end of the road for him. Other speculations say he's been masturbating to robosexual videos online." deleted obvious spam passage. whoever you are please don't do this again. Overmage 10:23, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Jim Jones American Gangster Jay-Z Diss
To be added to the Jay-Z controversy section
Jim Jones came out with a song recently that dissed Jay-Z calling him a fake and not a gangster. The song can be found here:http://allhiphop.com/stories/multimedia__music/archive/2007/11/05/18836363.aspx
Can I edit this in? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Azzamination220 (talk • contribs) 06:40, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
The entire mixtape-album Harlem's American Gangster has a lot of indirect dialog towards jay-z
