[edit] Hometown controversy

He was often reported as having a hometown of Fond du Lac, but his real hometown was Eden. I will take a picture the next time I'm in Eden of the welcome sign to prove that he was from Eden. Royalbroil 03:43, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

I changed his birthplace in the article, because I bet he was born in the hospital in Fond du Lac. He is known for growing up in Eden and attending high school in Campbellsport. I added a citation from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. I know these from personal experience too, as my uncle is an acquaince of Gantner. Royalbroil 02:33, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
