Jimmy Sharpe was a head football coach, most notably of the Virginia Tech Hokies from 1974 to 1977. He also served as an assistant coach at the University of Alabama, under Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant, and at Mississippi State University. He graduated from the University of Alabama in 1974.
