Jimmy James (-1991) was an Aboriginal Australian best known as a blacktracker who helped South Australian Police in tracking criminals over a forty year period. He was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in 1984 and the inaugural SA Aboriginal Person of the Year in 1983. His birthdate is uncertain, but he was estimated to be in is 80s at his death.
