Jimmy Donley

Jimmy Donley (born James Kenneth Donley, August 17, 1929 - March 20, 1963) was a singer/songwriter from Gulfport, Mississippi. He died from an apparent suicide.

Donley wrote many songs that went on to be hits by other artists, including Fats Domino and Jerry Lee Lewis. However these songs were not credited to Donley because he would sell the rights to his songs for very low prices.[citation needed]
