Jimmy Bancks

James Charles Bancks, or Jimmy Bancks (born Enmore, Sydney, 10 May 1889, died Point Piper, Sydney, 1 July 1952) was an Australian cartoonist. His work includes the comic strip Ginger (later Ginger Meggs) for the Sunday Sun and Sun News-Pictorial. Bancks also contributed to The Bulletin and The Comic Australian.
