Jimi Hendrix is a compilation album of material by Jimi Hendrix issued in 1972. It was the first posthumous Hendrix album released by Polydor Records. It is a sort of Smash Hits Part 2 collection. The songs for this album come from all previous Jimi Hendrix albums plus those released up to 1972, including The Cry of Love, Rainbow Bridge and Hendrix in the West.
