Jim Watkins

Jim Watkins, an Ohio native, is the co-anchor of the weekday edition of CW11 News at Ten on WPIX-TV. He joined the station in 1998 after three years working at WNBC-TV in New York. While at WNBC, Watkins anchored the weekend editions of NewsChannel 4 at 6 and 11, as well as "Weekend Today in New York." In addition to his anchoring and reporting duties at WNBC, Watkins also hosted a nationally televised cable show, "Great Stuff" on NBC's business cable channel CNBC.
Every year, Jim Watkins hosts a television program at the Hispanic Day Parade, which occurs on the second Sunday of October. Watkins is a former anchor and reporter from CBS affiliate WTVF in Nashville, Tennessee. He also writes columns for AM New York, a free weekday daily distributed in New York City. His son, Liam, is autistic and he is active with many autism awareness groups.
