Jim Rowinski

James (Jim) Rowinski (born January 4, 1961, in Long Island, New York) is a retired American professional basketball player whose NBA career lasted 23 games over two seasons with 3 different teams. He was a 6'8" 250 lb center and played collegiately at Purdue University. He is one of three Purdue players to have been named Big Ten MVP (1984), Steve Scheffler (1990) and Glenn Robinson (1994) being the others.

He was drafted by the Utah Jazz in the 4th round of the 1984 NBA draft. He played from March 1989[1] to April 1990[2] with the Detroit Pistons, Philadelphia 76ers, and Miami Heat.
