Jim Riggs

Jim Riggs is a saxophonist and professor at the University of North Texas where he teaches jazz saxophone and directs the Two O'Clock Lab Band. He was born in Toledo, Ohio in 1941.

Riggs attended the University of North Texas and was a member of the One O'Clock Lab Band. Riggs performs regularly with the Dallas and Fort Worth Symphonies. A recording artist himself, he has instructed many prominent alumni of the Jazz Studies program at UNT.
