James Francis "Jim" Prestel (born June 28, 1937 in Indianapolis, Indiana) is a former professional football player. Restel was an National Football League defensive lineman for eight seasons with the Cleveland Browns, Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants, and Washington Redskins.

After graduating from Sacred Heart High School in Indianapolis in 1955, Prestel played college football for Skip Stahley at the University of Idaho, where he teamed with future pros Jerry Kramer, Wayne Walker, and Jim Norton. He was selected in the 6th round of the 1959 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns, the 70th overall pick.
