Jim Miceli

Jim Miceli is an American Democratic politician, currently representing Middlesex County's 19th district in the Massachusetts State Legislature. He is also running in the special election to replace Marty Meehan in the United States House of Representatives.

Miceli ran in the 5th Congressional District, but didn't actually live there. He lives in nearby Wilmington. [1] Miceli's current district consists parts of both Wilmington and Tewksbury. [2] He came in last place in the 5 way Democratic primary for the 5th district seat.

Miceli was first elected to the State House in 1977. He has a B.S. in Business Administration from Northeastern University. [3]

Miceli is a more conservative Democrat. He is pro-life and for traditional marriage (between one man and one woman). [4]

Jim Miceli was also the first coach of Bryant University's football team. He lead the team from 1999 until 2003. His record was 25-26 with one winning season, one losing season and three seasons at .500.
