Jim Jonsin is a producer and song-writer currently working for Atlantic Records.

Jim Jonsin was born in Brooklyn, New York, but was raised in South Florida. There, he made his name at the early age of 14 by becoming a scratch DJ. Later on, he would produce various bands in the area, as well release songs on the label Cut it up Def Records, where he produced music in the Miami bass genre. After years of production work with local artists, he partnered with Trick Daddy and signed up with Slip & Slide/Atlantic Records in 1998. Since then, he has started a new label, Rebel Rock, and has produced hits for T.I, Pretty Ricky, Jamie Foxx, Trina, DG Yola, Pitbull, Twista, T-Pain, Omarion, Bow Wow, Mario, Trey Songz, Kelly Rowland, Lil Wayne, Birdman, Trick Daddy and Danity Kane. His label Rebel Rock recently signed upstart Atlanta Rapper B.O.B., known for his regional hit "Haterz Everywhere" produced by Ribah.
