Jim Fox (basketball)

James L. Fox (born April 7, 1943 in Atlanta, Georgia) is an American former professional basketball player.
A 6'10" center, Fox played one season at the University of South Carolina, where he led his team in both scoring and rebounding. After a two-year professional career in Europe, Fox joined the National Basketball Association and remained there for ten seasons (1967–1977) as a member of the Cincinnati Royals, Detroit Pistons, Phoenix Suns, Chicago Bulls, Seattle SuperSonics, Milwaukee Bucks, and New York Knicks. He averaged 9.3 points and 7.4 rebounds in his NBA career. Fox still holds the SuperSonics single game record for rebounds with 30, which he collected in a victory against the Los Angeles Lakers on December 26, 1973.[1]
In 2005, Fox was inducted into the South Carolina Athletic Hall of Fame.
