Jim Corbett (politician)

James N. Corbett Jr. (died June 30, 2007) was an Arizona politician.
Corbett, whose great-grandfather J. Knox Corbett also served as a Tucson mayor, was mayor from 1967 to 1971, and began his 20-year-career as the elected clerk of the court in 1979.
Corbett served as a Coast Guard officer from 1942 to 1946. He was also a member of the Arizona House of Representatives from 1956 to 1958, then the Tucson City Council from 1963 to 1967
