Jim Burns (basketball)

James B. "Jim" Burns (born September 21, 1945) is a retired American basketball player.

He played collegiately for the Northwestern University.

He was selected by the Chicago Bulls in the 4th round (34th pick overall) of the 1967 NBA Draft.

He played for the Bulls (1967-68) in the NBA for 3 games and for the Dallas Chaparrals (1967-68) in the ABA for 33 games.
