From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jim Bricker is a writer who has worked in the comic book industry. He wrote and drew the series Open Season, which was published by Renegade Press (first six issues) and Strawberry Jam Comics (seventh issue) from 1986 to 1988.

After adapting Open Season for the stage and writing several stories for Disney Comics, Jim fell into work for Apple Computer since 1992, where nothing resembling cartooning happens. Outside of work, pursuits in music, faith, and other writings continued. In 2008, his adaptation of a Tori Amos song is slated for publication in the volume Comic Book Tattoo.

Married since 1991, Jim currently lives in San Jose, CA with his wife Ann and two boys, Kyle and John, both of whom love cartooning.
