Jill Richardson (previously Harvey and Chance) was a fictional character on the daytime soap opera Crossroads. She was played by actress Jane Rossington from the first episode on 2 November 1964 to the very last 24 years later on 4 April 1988. She even spoke the first words on the show "Crossroads Motel, good evening".
Rossington returned to the role in the 2001 revival, but the character was killed off three months in. It is said that this decision was the 'death knell' for the new series, which was axed less than two years later.
