Jill Lorie Hurst

Jill Lorie Hurst is an American television soap opera writer and story producer. She currently resides in New York City with her husband Tony Hurst and their dog Scout and cat Molly. She grew up in Detroit in the 60's and 70's, attended Detroit public schools and Wayne State University. Her sister Janice and half sister Regan still reside in Michigan along with her mother and many lovely family members and old friends.

Hurst is aunt to Kaitlin and Rachel Hirsch of St. Clair Shores Michigan and Lee Hirsch of New York. Also Asher, Dan and Callie Hurst of South Carolina, Rick,Kristen and Andrew Hurst of Massachusetts, Sarah Hurst of Idaho and finally Jennifer Hurst, who lives in Fairfax, CA with her son Griffin Alexander, born on 2007-07-06
