Coordinates: Jigani Hobli is located in Anekal taluk in South Bangalore, India and is situated at a distance of 20 km from Bangalore city railway station.
Some of the features of the place Jigani are that it has a well established Jigani industrial area and also very near to Electronics City in Bangalore. Jigani may be the next IT Hub in Bangalore.
Several such Government initiatives to improve development to this area in Bangalore has led to growth of population in this area starting 2004.

Jigani is also one of the latest Residential hub for good layouts around its Koppa gate area which are approved by BMRDA in Bangalore.
The state highway Bannerghatta road from Bangalore via Bannerghatta via Jigani till Anekal was upgraded in early 2006.

Jigani area of Bangalore is adjoining the city Green Belt area in which Bannerghatta National Park is situated. The national park is a 6 km drive from Jigani, Karnataka, India. The hilly place is the home for one of the rich natural, zoological reserves. The 25,000 acre (101 km²) zoological park makes this a major tourist attraction of Bangalore.
