Jiang Mianheng

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jiang Mianheng (simplified Chinese: 江绵恒) is the son of Jiang Zemin, former People's Republic of China president. Mianheng is one of the co-founders of Grace Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation, located in Shanghai. Jiang has a PhD in Physics from Drexel University, where his father went for a visit in 1997. [1] Jiang also served as one of the head researchers for the Chinese space program. In 2007, Jiang failed to win his nomination as a delegate to the 17th Party Congress[2]. Reuters indicated that this is a sign that the Shanghai Clique under the auspices of his father has lost its power.
