Jia Ali (Urdu: جیاعلی) (with wrong spelling Gia Ali) is a Pakistani model and an actress. She is more of a model than an actress. Jia Ali started off at an early age of nineteen and within no time achieved star status in the glamour world by a dint of hard work and with lots of talents. She puts in hundred per cent efforts in her projects and never does a job half-hearted. Hailing from a conservative family, this amazing actress was very choosy about her projects and turned down innumerable offers from Lollywood.[1]
In 1991, Jia Ali bagged Wrangler commercial and walked the ramp for its fashion show and was soon noticed by people who matter in Lollywood. It was while she was in Islamabad, Nabila noticed Jia Ali and introduced her to Sajjad Gul, the famous producer, who instantly signed her for his prestigious movie Deewane Tere Pyar Ke. After she made it big with her debut movie, Jia Ali acted in several movies that consolidated her success at the top. But Jia Ali loves modeling more than movies, which is why she is frequently seen shuffling between Lahore and Karachi for her modeling assignments. It hadn't been an easy ride though for Jia Ali. She achieved stardom and success very early in her career despite facing setbacks, manipulations, backstabbing, jealousies and personal rivalries in the glamour world. Her brother, Munna Mushtaq is a fashion photographer.
