Jhenaidah is a district in South-western Bangladesh. It is a part of the Khulna Division.

Upazilas under this district are:

  1. Harinakunda Upazila
  2. Jhenaidah Sadar Upazila Many people came from Noakhali District from 1950 to 1970. They left East site Jhenaidah West site Jhenaidah. Near Jhenaidah around 3.5 ml east is Uttar Kasto sagra. There was British broker hindu family. Now they are out of village. Another family is Muslim Miah bari. They steel have but power is jeero persent.

  • Naldanga Temple Complex, in Kaliganj upazilla in jhenaidah district. it is a temple complex built in 1656 by Maharaj Indranarayan Debroy. There are all total 6 temples now. The government restored all of them in 80's but was destroyed again at the communial riot. now most of them are in ruins. renewvation in still going on. the idol of goddess Kali was made from Banaras, India. buses to kaliganj is very available from jessore. from kaliganj naldanga can be gone by rickshaw.
  • The biggest banyan tree in the world is situated in this district. one can go there by rickshaw or other human hauler from kaliganj
  • The Gunjanath temple dated back at 17th century is also in Kaliganj. it can be gone from Naldanga.
