Hello!

During a recent classroom debate in my Executive MBA class, we challenged each other on the validity of Wikipedia for citing in academic environments. This was an excellent discussion and several conclusions were drawn and opinions formed. For me, I enjoy Wikipedia as a guide and informational reference. There is a lot to learn!

The reason I am here is to draw attention to the family surname of Barnes. Although I share the same last name, I seek no recognition from this exercise. I maintain a website by the name of Barnes.com. I do receive two to three emails per day from people all around the world requesting information about Barnes family name or wanting to contribute to the history of the Barnes family name. For me, I just own the website and am happy to be the person sharing the information.
