[edit] started merge
Moved info from Jhang to Jhang District. I did it this way rather than the other way around even though Jhang was bigger and better developed because all the other articles in Administrative divisions of Punjab (Pakistan) seem to have the district as the article instead of the single name. I placed a redirect in Jhang.-----Adimovk5 (talk) 05:02, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Propose merger/refactoring of 2 Jhang district articles
There seems to be 2 articles, Jhang District and Jhang, both about the same district. There's also a tehsil named Jhang, but neither article seems to write much about that. Could someone who knows the area sort this out? --Alvestrand 01:53, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
- I have removed the redirect from Jhang to Jhang District, note Jhang is a city and the capital of Jhang District (and Jangh tehsil). I have removed all the details relating to the district in the Jhang article, I believed his needs to be an article in its own right, in the same way that York and North Yorkshire, New York City and New York, or Abbottabad and Abbottabad District are all separate articles and not all lumped together as one.
