[edit] Summary
This Olympus Cigar label was found in an old box of cigar labels that dated from the 1920's – most of the companies having gone out of business.
Subsequently I informed the personnel of Harvard College years ago of the existance of this label, and the fact that the artist had clearly misinterpreted his instructions to paint an image of the founder of Harvard College: John Harvard – in fact, mistakenly painting a portrait of the first schoolmaster of Harvard: Nathaniel Eaton; which it can easily be seen was far older than John Harvard would have been who died in 1638 at the age of 29. Nathaniel Eaton, on the other hand, lived to be at least 64 years old having died in 1674 (also notice the sitter's collar to be the same as that worn by Oliver Cromwell in 1657).
As the copyright has probably expired, fairuse is contentended here.
The Image itself was taken from Harvard's official website. The individual webpage is presently located at: [1], and the image's properties there presently are: [2].

GIVEN: that the US based cigar company that paid for this label has long since gone out of business. The label dates circa 1920's, and locating who might still own the rights is not easy since there were 100's of such companies that went in and out of business prior to the modern day method of massive ownerships by one or two companies. Publication of the cigar label on this page, therefore, constitutes a fair use and actually assists the owner, whoever he may be, in increasing the value of his label(s); which are now all that may remain of the former company.
