[edit] Dilshan
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Dilshan, by SockpuppetSamuelson (talk ยท contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Dilshan fits the criteria for speedy deletion for the following reason:
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Dilshan, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Dilshan itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 13:52, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:Ritchievalensmain.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Ritchievalensmain.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 18:15, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] February 2008
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Newbie, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. [edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Thomas cooray.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Thomas cooray.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] Hitler's Pope
An entire paragraph about a single criticism of the cover of the US edition of one book is not needed (and constitues extreme undue emphasis) in the biography of a major historical figure, especially when there is a separate article for the book. Please add such information to the Hitler's Pope article and not the Pope Pius XII article. The section in the PPXII article is for the summary of the elements of the book which are most relevant to Pacelli's bio, not for the minor stylistic disputes between later writers.
