Hello fellow Wikipedians!

I'm a WikiUser coming from the Gatineau, Quebec/Ottawa area and started working on this site since March 2006. I did studies in political sciences and international development at the Université du Québec en Outaouais and which I've became bachelor and alumni in November 2007. I've also obtained a college diploma in humanities from the CEGEP de l'Outaouais and did additional studies in computer sciences at college and in industrial relations at the UQO.

On this site, I work on many articles related to the Ottawa-Gatineau area, most notably for sites or events. The areas in addition of Gatineau and Ottawa includes Chelsea, Cantley and much of the Ottawa Valley.

I am also involved in weather-related articles including hurricanes, tornadoes, winter storms and other storm events. You can often see me tracking major thunderstorms, tornadoes, derechos, major snowstorms, etc.

Politics (of course) is another domain where I've contributed significantly, more specifically about Politics of Quebec where I have created about 200 articles on past and present politicians, electoral districts and past legislatures in that province. I am also participating in some of the articles related to federal politics.

Other areas of interests includes also geography, sports, recent news and entertainment and many more. Also at times, I clean up vandalism edits and participate at Afd discussions on various articles.

Since September 20, 2007, I am an administrator on the English Wikipedia thanks to a nomination made by User:WjBscribe (User:Samir also supported a nomination) and a unanimous support from the community (73/0/0). I previously made a request in February 2007 but did failed in a split decision (9/14/13). As part of administrative duties, I usually do vandalism fighting, closing AFD debates, protecting/un-protecting articles (and salting repeated deleted titles) and delete articles and sometimes images not meeting guidelines. Since starting contributing to Wikipedia on March 11, 2008, I've made over 43 000 edits which would make me in the top 200 of all Wikipedian users and third among WikiProject Ottawa users behind Bearcat and SimonP and recently surpassing Earl Andrew for second in the Greater Ottawa region.
