Of those whom much is given, much is required. And when at some future date the high court of history sits in judgment on each of us, recording whether in our brief span of service, we fulfilled our responsibilities to the state, our success or failure in whatever office we hold, will be measured by the answers to four questions:
First, were we truly men of courage, with the courage to stand up to one's enemies, and the courage to stand up, when necessary, to one's associates, the courage to resist public pressure as well as private greed?
Second, were we truly men of judgment, with perceptive judgment of the future as well as the past, of our own mistakes as well as the mistakes of others, with enough wisdom to know what we did not know, and enough candor to admit it?
Third, were we truly men of integrity, men who never ran out on either the principles in which we believed or the people who believed in us, men whom neither financial gain nor political ambition could ever divert from the fulfillment of our sacred trust
Finally, were we truly men of dedication, with an honor mortgaged not to a single individual or group, and compromised by no private obligation or aim, but devoted solely to serving the public good and the national interest?
Courage, judgment, integrity, dedication .... These are the qualities which, with Gods help, this son of Massachusetts hopes will characterize our government's conduct in the four stormy years that lie ahead. Humbly I ask His help in this undertaking; but aware that on earth His will is worked by men, I ask for your help and your prayers as I embark on this new and solemn journey. ROSEMARY is also documented stating to House Select Committee on Assassinations investigators that when she did snap her head to directly face the exact same grassy knoll location after her hearing audible muzzle blasts, and/or, "silenced" mechanically-suppress-fired bullet bow shockwaves during the attack on President KENNEDY, that she was, also, attracted to watch a person quickly disappear out of her sight behind the grassy knoll wall.
.....The MARY MOORMAN polaroid # 5 photo, closely snapped only 0.14 second after the President's head first exploded, reveals an assassin positioned in that exact same HSCA determined grassy knoll picket fence location..... yet, photos and films captured mere seconds later, do not show the grassy knoll assassin, observed by deaf mute ED HOFFMAN (rare video interview), still there, in that exact same location.
Of all the Dealey Plaza assassination sequence films, ROSEMARY's ultrafast headsnap westward directly towards the grassy knoll is The fastest headsnap reaction documented of all standing attack witnesses

.... Dallas Chief of police, JESSE E. CURRY, describing the "agent" that Dallas Police Officer JOE MARSHALL SMITH warrenatti testified to that he quickly encountered near the grassy knoll, when SMITH-----who during the shots was standing in the street slightly east of being nearly directly in front of the much, much closer to him warrenatti, supposed, "lone nut" "snipers lair"-----chose, instead, to first run to the grassy knoll. (as did dozens of witnesses and professional law enforcement persons)
While running to the grassy knoll, a witness yelled to SMITH, "They are shooting the President from the bushes." SMITH then soon encountered a man on the grassy knoll who identified himself to the revolver-drawn SMITH as an "agent," and quickly flashed at SMITH a Secret Service Agent identification. SMITH also stated that when he arrived at the grassy knoll, he (exactly as did many other GROUND-and-STREET-BASED witnesses some 61+ feet BELOW the warrenatti, supposed, "lone nut" "snipers lair") distinctly smelled gun smoke....
....But....
....there was NEVER, "officially" ever a single United States government "agent" of any type documented in any record as being stationed anywhere within Dealey Plaza, either before or during the attack
........Interestingly, buried deep into close attack witness JEAN HILL’s warrenatti-testimony are her statements of at least one missed shot, and that a Secret Service "agent" stated to her within minutes that other Secret Service "agents" watching from a Dealey Plaza court house had observed a missed shot striking very near her and kicking up debris........
........Along with Dallas Police Officer SMITH, there were several additional witnesses who after the attack encountered within seconds & minutes an "agent" or "agents" within Dealey Plaza, such as Dallas Police Sergeant DAVID V. HARKNESS who encountered several "agents" who were grouped at the rear of the book depository, and who told HARKNESS they were "agents"........ MALCOLM SUMMERS, who, along with others, encountered a business suited "agent" man who SUMMERS also observed was armed with a concealed weapon under his coat, and who stopped and deflected them away from approaching the grassy knoll, when he ordered them to "Don't you all come up here any further, you could get shot or killed".....

In 1968 Mrs. EVELYN LINCOLN, President KENNEDY's longtime secretary, wrote the book, "Kennedy and Johnson," detailing that President KENNEDY had stated that LYNDON B. JOHNSON would be replaced as Vice President.
Mrs. LINCOLN wrote of her November 19, 1963 conversation with President KENNEDY, just before the trip to Texas:
As Mr. Kennedy sat in the rocker in my office, his head resting on its back he placed his left leg across his right knee. He rocked slightly as he talked. In a slow pensive voice he said to me, "You know if I am re-elected in sixty-four, I am going to spend more and more time toward making government service an honorable career. I would like to tailor the executive and legislative branches of government so that they can keep up with the tremendous strides and progress being made in other fields." "I am going to advocate changing some of the outmoded rules and regulations in the Congress, such as the seniority rule. To do this I will need as a running mate in sixty-four a man who believes as I do."
Mrs. Lincoln continued...
I was fascinated by this conversation and wrote it down verbatim in my diary. Now I asked, "Who is your choice as a running-mate?" He looked straight ahead, and without hesitating he replied, "At this time I am thinking about Governor Terry Sanford of North Carolina. But it will not be Lyndon."
"Well, that's Lyndon, and he's in alot of trouble."
