Talk:Jews outside Europe under Nazi occupation

author seems to have forgotten about Lebanon and Syria, also Vichy, and the concentration camps there and in Tunisia could do with some detail. Additionally I note the massacres from the C19th (Martin Gilbert lists dozens many similar to the Safed plunder 'pogrom' of 1834) and the notorious Damascus incident) notable as a build-up in Arab Nationalism and concommitant antisemitism occurs. A mention of Cremieuxs campaigning to protect the Lebanese Christians provides historical background and is directly related to widespread favourable reaction to fascism and the later outcome of religious/ethnic intolerance in Arab world. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.43.2.2 (talk) 09:40, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
