[edit] Things to do to improve the article
Hello, all. I think this article has been receiving some wonderful help from a number of editors. There are still many things I would like to see done (and will certainly help to accomplish), not the least of which are these:
1. More subject areas: The article as it stands currently covers only the legal status of Byzantine Jews. There are many other facets of their life that it should cover, such as community life, culture, art/architecture and economic status.
2. More "special features": Pictures, boxes, graphs, maps, etc. I don't know how to do these, so it would be nice if someone else could create them (or, better yet, teach me how).
3. Any thing else? Ideas?
Any further suggestions are welcome. Any help in expanding the above is even more welcome.
Thanks in advance, Saepe Fidelis (talk) 14:14, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] "Jews" vs. "Jewish population"
I think the first sentence of the article should read Jews of the Byzantine Empire, rather than Jewish population of the Byzantine Empire. I have tried to make that edit several times, and it has been edited back. Rather than going back and forth, I wanted to get some other editors' opinion on which they prefer. - Jewish population seems better to me, though not as thwe article title. Johnbod (talk) 19:09, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
