[edit] Current Info

Hey. Does anyone have any info about their status nowadays? Are they all still in Israel? Where abouts? How many of them are there now? Olockers 18:21, 11 March 2007 (UTC)

From what I've read, about half are now in Israel, most of the remainder remain in San Nicandro Garganico. If you read through the "hidden text" in the article (requires hitting [edit]), you'll find more info. I dumped the text from various websites into the article and hid it in HTML comment tags, bcz I didn't have (and still haven't had) time to do the article justice. Thanks. I'd assume they were pretty assimilated into Jewish/Israeli society given that there seems to be very little info about them that isn't 50+ years old.Olockers
