Reverted edits made. Do not copy paste article to new location. Read WP:Move and WP:CPMV for reasons why. Also this article is a division of the JPL libraries. See Jewish Public Library (Montreal). Joneboi 16:28, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
I'm not sure why you say that "this article is a division of the JPL Libraries". Are you saying that Jewish Public Library of Montreal and what was called the Jewish Public Library of Toronto are both part of an entity called "JPL Libraries"? If so, that is simply a falsehood. The 2 had a similarity of name, but that's it. They are - and always have been - totally seprate entities.
It was wrong for someone to call JPL of Montreal just "Jewish Public Library" because (a) the full name is Jewish Public Library of Montreal ; (b) there were (& still are) other Jewish public libraries in other cities (e.g. Winnipeg). That's why I set up the disambiguation page.
With the recent renaming of the Albert & Temmy Latner Jewish Public Library of Toronto as "Toronto Jewish Library", I wanted to fix the inaccuracy of the Wikipedia pages. I wanted those searching specifically for "Jewish Public Library of Toronto" or "Jewish Public Library (Toronto)" to be redirected towards a properly titled article "Toronto Jewish Library".
I tried and I have failed, since others won't let it be.
So, if people continue to think that Wikipedia is inaccurate and unreliable ... well, I guess that I've learned that certain people prefer it that way.
I really don't see what point there is pointing people to an external link that has the proper and current name of an intitiution whose name you don't respect and refuse to properly use.
