This article has been proposed for merger with Jewellery or handmade jewelry. If you disagree, please view the article for deletion for this page. My opinion is that the Jewellery main article is already too long. Userafw (talk) 16:18, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

* http://www.bloglander.com/jewelrymaking/ This page does not have a blog format anything like Myspace or Facebook so did not seem to me like a blog when I visited the page. On this topic, on that page, not just anyone can contribute. If it is a blog, it is an expert blog.

Links were removed per WP:EL. Collectonian (talk) 10:18, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
WP:EL is a very long list of possible reasons, not one specific reason. None of the sites contain malware to my knowledge, for instance, and none of the sites blatantly advertise a specific product. Believe me, I want to know if any links I EVER suggest contain malware that my virus scanner did not catch. Userafw (talk) 19:15, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

I see some misunderstandings in the lists above, which say "removed for unknown reasons". As a person who has contributed most days since January 2003 I have (at risk of sounding a bit pretentious!) developed a sense of what a serious" encyclopedia should or should not contain or, to put it another way, what Wikipedia wants. So, Blogs are out,and any site that is mainly or partly advertising, and "how to make a bead chain at home" type of site. I've had a brief look at the above Ext Links and I see mostly what I've just described. Ext Links must be "serious" but only experience shows exactly what that means.
In the Internal Links list I find the Lapidary Clubs OK and the Handmade Jewelery OK (I have no idea why anyone would remove them). Watchmaking is OK here (but not on the Jewelery article), and the Mass Customisation is too far off-topic in my opinion.
Hope this helps - Adrian Pingstone (talk) 11:10, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
It does help, see my notes above. Adding back internal links to Lapidary Clubs, Handmade jewelery and Watchmaking.
